The first round of the 2025 NBA Draft is in the books. On Wednesday night 30 players realized a dream, as their names were called and they learned their professional destination.

But there are 29 picks remaining in the 2025 NBA Draft, which means 29 more prospects are going to hear their names called later today.

The 2025 NBA Draft began as expected, with Cooper Flagg coming off the board with the first-overall selection by the Dallas Mavericks, followed by Dylan Harper to the San Antonio Spurs with the No. 2 pick. But then the draft veered off course a bit, as VJ Edgecombe was the third selection, coming off the board to the Philadelphia 76ers. Kon Knueppel was next, drafted by the Charlotte Hornets, and then Ace Bailey heard his name called, as the Rutgers guard was on his way to the Utah Jazz.

The first round also saw three players from Duke come off the board inside the top ten, as big center Khaman Maluach came off the board at No. 10 to the Phoenix Suns, joining Flagg and Knueppel. Wednesday night also saw Illinois teammates Kasparas Jakucionis and Will Riley come off the board with back-to-back picks, with Jakucionis going to the Miami Heat at No. 20, and Riley going to the Washington Wizards at No. 21.

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the night came at No. 16 when big Yang Hansen came off the board to the Memphis Grizzlies, his rights then traded to the Portland Trail Blazers. Yang is a massive presence with a huge wingspan, but has work to do on the defensive end of the floor. Yang was also ranked at No. 34 in Ricky O’Donnell’s Top-60 players prior to the NBA Draft.

As for who might come off the board on Thursday, Rasheer Fleming from Saint Joseph’s and Ryan Kalkbrenner from Creighton are the top two players on the SB Nation board. There are also a pair of international players — Noah Penda from France and Bogoljub Marković from Serbia — who could come off the board early in the second round.

Here are the best remaining players in the 2025 NBA Draft, based off SB Nation’s big board:
