If Tuesday’s Duke-Kansas State matchup was supposed to be the first big “test” for Duke, the rest of college hoops might want to stay home from school for the rest of this season.

But seriously, Kansas State's Frank Martin summed up the night pretty perfectly when he explained that, "They knocked the living piss out of us." And when you see that quote and consider the gulf between no. 1 Duke and no. 4 Kansas State last night, you begin to see why NBA scouts kept saying the Devils were so "scary" and "complete" in the preseason.
↵They’ve got the best backcourt in the country, the best small forward, the best freshman guard, one of the best coaches, the best homecourt advantage, and last night, they looked A LOT better than the fourth-best team in the country. Looking up and down their roster, you get the sense this could be one of the best teams we’ve seen in years. Could Duke go undefeated and win a second-straight national title?
