First there was the uniform controversy when UNC went and adopted those weird Nike holograms that Duke wore last year, and now we have this first-look photo from Tar Heel Blue. This is what the Tar Heels will wear when they play Michigan State in a few a weeks.

↵And you know, I’m all for over-the-top displays of patriotism, especially since they’ll be playing basketball on a motherf’ing aircraft carrier, but it’s also pretty American to celebrate tradition, right? And this just looks like their jerseys got into a fight with a washing machine.
