Georgetown Has Bieber Fever

Georgetown basketball’s image took a bit of a hit when pictures and video of the Hoyas brawling with a team from China went viral over the summer.

So where is the first place the program’s repair efforts are turning? The Biebs, of course.

Pop sensation Justin Bieber was recently seen sporting a Hoyas cap in public, and the folks at Georgetown figured that was more than enough reason to invite the kid to a game.

I wonder how a move like this would have gone over in the ‘80s. Somehow I can’t see Sleepy Floyd being behind a Rick Springfield invite.

One less lonely Thompson.
