The college basketball season is young, but we already have our first big posterization. You know the term, you know what it looks like, so you know you should be excited for many more of these to come.
VIDEO: Jeremy Lamb Makes A Poster
Jeremy Lamb was the aggressor on Friday night, getting the UConn Huskies' new line of posters started off on the right foot. Against Columbia, Lamb drove baseline, where he found an interior defender making a feeble attempt to take a charge. You could almost hear the screams of "this is a bad idea" as the big man slides over to try and stop Lamb.
The end result is a wonderful dunk -- an and-one -- and a poor defender sprawled on the ground; the picture of defeat.
My man, if you’re going to try and take a charge inside, make sure your feet are outside the circle. There was no chance to draw the foul here, and Lamb seemed to know it. I get the feeling this is going to happen a lot this season.
