The Memphis Tigers are wearing throwback Memphis State uniforms vs. Belmont on Monday in honor of the late Larry Finch. Finch was an all-american guard at Memphis and the winningest coach in program history. He died last April at age 60.

Memphis is also donning a No. 21 patch on the uniform, which it will continue wear for the remainder of the season.
“I think it’s the right thing to do,” head coach Josh Pastner told the Memphis Commercial-Appeal. “When you talk about No. 21 in this city, there’s one thing the people know, and that’s Larry Finch.”
