Texas A&M Vs. St. John’s Final Score: Aggies Barely Escape, 58-57

Texas A&M barely escaped with a win on Friday night, downing St. John’s by the slimmest of margins, 58-57.

The Texas A&M Aggies got all they could handle from St. John's on Friday night at Madison Square Garden, but survived to come away with a one-point win, 58-57. Elston Turner hit the go-ahead bucket with eight seconds to go and the Aggies somehow escaped despite sending Nurideen Lindsey to the line with two seconds to go. The St. John's guard missed both his free throws, losing out on an opportunity to tie or give the Red Storm the win as Texas A&M hung on for dear life.

The Aggies were led by Ray Turner, who came off the bench to score a game-high 16 points. No other Texas A&M players were in double-figures. Kourtney Robinson grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds in the win.

D'Angelo Harrison and Nurideen Lindsey led the way for the Red Storm, scoring 12 points apiece in the loss. Phil Greene and Phil Greene each came off the bench to add 10 points. And just because the names are awesome, Sir'Dominic Pointer finished with seven points and God'sgift Achiuwa added three points.
