The No. 16 ranked Arizona Wildcats traveled to New York to play in the 2K Sports Coaches Vs. Cancer Classic, taking on the Mississippi State Bulldogs. The Bulldogs jumped out of the gate going on a quick 7-0 run forcing an early Arizona timeout. The Wildcats collected themselves after the timeout however, and got back into the basketball game trailing by only a point, 35-34, heading into halftime.

Deville Smith and Arnett Moultrie led the way for the Bulldogs in the second half of the game, jumping out to an early lead and the pulling away late. Moultrie ended the night with 19 points and 10 boards, while Smith finished with just 7 points, most of that in the second half.
