The Florida Gators took on the Wright State Raiders in Tampa Bay, taking an early 44-29 into halftime. The Gators proved too much for the Raiders, as guard Kenny Boynton sank three-pointer after three-pointer, ending the night 6-for-9 from beyond the arc. The Raiders outscored the Gators in the second half, but the game was well in hand, with Florida winning 78-65..

The Florida Gators coasted to a 78-65 win over the Wright State Raiders, thanks to 22 points from Kenny Boynton.


Boynton ended the game tied for with Brad Beal for a team high 22 points. The Raiders just couldn't handle the Gator guards, who combined for a total of 64 points, including 11 off the bench from Mike Rosario. As a team, the Gators shot 44 percent from three-point range. For the Raiders, guard Julius Mays carried the way offensively with 21 points.
