No. 25 Missouri vs. Notre Dame Final: Marcus Denmon Powers Tigers Past Irish, 87-58

Notre Dame just couldn’t keep up with the Missouri Tigers, falling 87-58.

The Missouri Tigers blew past the Notre Dame Fighting Irish thanks to 26 points off the bench by Marcus Denmon. The Tigers took a comfortable 52-37 lead into halftime and just coasted from there. Missouri went on an early 12-4 runs and Notre Dame seemingly couldn't recover from the massive lead.

Denmon, who went 2-of-3 from three-point range, paced the Tigers with his 26 points. Flip Pressley also had 17 points off the bench. Forward Tim Abromaitis led the way for the Fighting Irish, scoring 22 points and also picking up seven rebounds. The Tigers just put it in cruise control in the second half, still outscoring Notre Dame 35-21.
