The No. 6 Duke Blue Devils advanced to the finals of the EA Sports Maui Invitational Tuesday night with a win over the No. 15 Michigan Wolverines, 82-75. Duke freshman Austin Rivers led all scorers with 20, the highest-scoring output of his young career — though he shot just 6-14 from the floor. He had a lot of help from Seth Curry, 17 points, 3-3 from deep, and Ryan Kelly, 17 points, five rebounds, two steals and two block.

Michigan was led by outstanding freshman point guard Trey Burke, who poured in 17 points and doled out nine assists. Sophomore stud Tim Hardaway, Jr. struggled in the first half, but turned it around in the second and finished with 19 points.

The game was won and lost at the three-point line. Duke was on fire all night, from Curry to Rivers to Andre Dawkins to Ryan Kelly, and every time Michigan started to make the game close, the Blue Devils hit a backbreaking deep shot. Though the Wolverines proved their ranking is appropriate, they're not quite at the level of the Blue Devils at this point in the season.
