In a battle between two top-25 teams, no one expected a blowout. But Missouri dominated California from start to finish, winning 92-53 in the championship game of the College Basketball Experience Classic at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.

Mizzou, who featured six players scoring in double-digits, was led by Kim English, who finished with 19 points and four rebounds. Marcus Denmon added 18 to go with six rebounds before being named the tournament's Most Valuable Player after the game.
“It starts with us playing as a team,” Denmon said, according to the AP. “Everybody passing up the good shot for a better shot, and that’s what we did as a unit. It allowed us to have California playing on their heels, and that’s something I felt if we did as a team, we would be hard to guard.”
Cal's leading scorer was Jorge Gutierrez, who scored 11 points before fouling out with over 11 minutes left in the second half. Justin Cobbs added 10 off the bench. As a team, Cal shot just 29.8 percent from the field, including 22.2 percent from long-distance. That's a far stretch from Baylor's dominating 58.8 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from three-point range.
