No. 6 Louisville vs. Long Beach State Final Score: Cardinals Win 79-66
The Louisville Cardinals avoided an upset, beating Long Beach State at home.

The Cardinals (6-0) won their 14th consecutive game at the KFC Yum! Center. SB Nation’s Louisville blog Card Chronicles predicted on its game preview that Louisville would not win without a better offensive performance than the team had demonstrated over the past three weeks. The the Cardinals went out and put up their biggest offensive output since the season opener against Tennessee-Martin.
Long Beach State was no push-over win, either. Earlier this season, the 49ers scored a 86-76 win at then-No. 9 Pittsburgh on Nov. 16 (their first win against a ranked opponent since 1994).
