For the Memphis Tigers basketball team, it was good to be back home -- especially against Jackson state. After losing to Michigan and Georgetown at the Maui Invitational tournament, the Tigers won big in their return to campus, beating Jackson State by a score of 70-45 on Monday night.

After a poor Maui Invitational, Memphis got a nice win in its return home against Jackson State.
The Tigers started slow, with just 11 points and a two-point lead in the first 10 minutes of the game. But Memphis gained control, and ran away in the second half. Chris Crawford paced the Tigers with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals. Joe Jackson added 15 points for Memphis to lead all scorers.
Jackson state had just one player in double digits.
