It was more of the same for the Pac-12 in what has been a disappointing non-conference season. The latest frustration came on Friday when Cal fell to No. 23 UNLV, 85-68.

Pac-12 has no ranked teams as they get ready to start their newly expanded league schedule this week.
The Golden Bears were trailing by 20 at halftime and never really closed that gap significantly. The Rebels actually led by as many as 27 points at one point in the second half. The loss essentially completes a non-conference schedule for the Pac-12 in which no team won a game against a Top 25 opponent.
The only other Pac-12 team to play on Friday was UCLA, who managed to beat Richmond, a 7-6 team from the Atlantic 10. The Bruins weren’t exactly dominant, either, as they were tied 24-24 at halftime.
