Pac 12 Basketball Schedule, TV Times And More: League Play Opens With Mostly Lackluster Matchups

Pac-12 has no ranked teams as they get ready to start their newly expanded league schedule this week.

League play starts on Thursday for Pac-12, but it comes with significantly less outside interest than it normally does. This is looking to be a down year for the newly expanded league, with no team currently ranked in the Top 25 and no team have as much as a single win over a Top 25 team on its resume at this point.

With that in mind, the matchup of the week is probably Oregon (9-3) paying a visit to Washington State (8-4). The Ducks are riding a three-game win streak and the Cougars are on a six-game win streak. Neither team has accomplished those streaks by beating great teams, but no Pac-12 team can really claim any big wins.

Stanford (10-2) and Oregon State (10-2) have been the conference’s two best teams. They play UCLA and Washington, respectively. The Cardinal lost their only game against a Top 25 opponent, when they fell to then No. 5 Syracuse 69-63, while the Beavers lost to then No. 22 Vanderbilt 64-62 in their only game against a ranked opponent.
