No. 16 Alabama Vs. Dayton Final Score: Flyers Upset Crimson Tide 74-62
The Dayton Flyers upset the No. 16 Alabama Crimson Tide 74-62 Wednesday night, giving the Tide a second-consecutive defeat and assuring them a drop out of the rankings next week.

Johnson also grabbed five rebounds in the win, which will be valuable for the Flyers come tournament time when the A-10 has made a habit in recent years of grabbing multiple at-large bids. Dayton had four players in double figures, but the story was how efficient the whole team was on the offensive end. They shot 60.9 percent from the field and 52.6 percent from deep.
The Crimson Tide, coming off their first loss of the season at home against a Georgetown team that’s sure to be ranked next week, have hung their hat on using their athleticism on defense, but they couldn’t stop Dayton’s hot shooters. The Tide were paced by forward Tony Mitchell, who scored 18 points. The team as a whole grabbed just 20 rebounds, but the Flyers had just 24, so there weren’t many to be had in this one.
