After a promising first half to the year, the Irish are back to their matador ways, as was abundantly clear last night in Providence, where Marshon Brooks set a Big East record with 52 points on a 20-28 shooting night, including 6-10 from downtown. Big East sports has video of all 52 Brooks points, which Rakes of Mallow generously describes as a "tip your cap" game.
↵Poor defense or not, the Irish will be happy with the win, which improves their record to 22-5 overall, 11-4 in Big East play.
