After a day of several exciting, close basketball games, the 2011 Big 12 Tournament breaks out the big guns on Thursday in the quarterfinal portion of the bracket. Kansas, which seems to have a lock on a one-seed in the NCAA Tournament, and Texas, which is fighting for a potential one-seed, are both in action Thursday.
Big 12 Basketball Tournament Bracket Update, Schedule For Thursday’s Quarterfinals
KU will start the day off, taking on Oklahoma State at 12:30 ET on ESPN2. Kansas State vs. Oklahoma is the second matinee contest as K-State looks to improve its March Madness seeding. The night session kicks off with Texas going up against Oklahoma. The Sooners are coming off a dominating win over Baylor, which was without star Perry Jones III. For the Longhorns, they still have an outside shot at a one-seed in the NCAA Tournament if they can win the Big 12 Tournament. The quarterfinal round finishes up with Texas A&M vs. Missouri.
