Big East Tournament 2011 Bracket Update: Notre Dame Pummels Cincinnati

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish solidified their possible No. 1 seed credentials on Thursday night, absolutely trouncing the Cincinnati Bearcats 89-51. The Fighting Irish made 9-19 three point shots while shooting 56% from the floor, notching 22 assists and out-rebounding Cincinnati. By every definition of the word, it was a complete and utter beatdown. The Irish look like a No. 2 seed at the moment, but another big win over the winner of Louisville vs. Marquette could see them move up to the No. 1 line.
