VIDEO: Tyler Zeller’s Game-Winner In UNC-Miami ACC Tournament Quarterfinals

The game-winner being made by UNC's Tyler Zeller in the video below marks the only time North Carolina led Miami the entire time during their 2011 ACC Tournament quarterfinal match-up on Friday.

As the final score shows, UNC’s first lead of the game was the only one that matter. But how that win came to be is impressive.

The Tar Heels started the second half down nine to the 'Canes. That deficit quickly became 16 points about five minutes into the half. From there, Miami went cold, and UNC starting draining shots. Kendall Marshall and Harrison Barens each hit multiple threes down the stretch to bring Carolina back. UNC tied the game for the first time with 48 seconds left.

Miami's ensuing -- and final -- possession resulted in a turnover after Adrian Thomas was unable to handle a pass. Following two fouls that Miami had left to give, there was less than six seconds on the clock for UNC's final play. Marshall drove to the basket, drew the defense and dished it to Zeller under the hoop for the easy game-winner.

Carolina narrowly escapes, and moves on to play in the semifinal game at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
