ACC Championship Game 2011, Duke Vs. UNC: Chaotic Game Producing A Lot Of Bricks

North Carolina has succeeded in sucking Duke into a game played at a high tempo, but that hasn’t produced any positive results for the Tar Heels. They haven’t seen the Duke lead expand any, but their lack of shooting prowess has kept them from chipping away at that lead, despite the fact that they’re dictating the tempo of the game. For every thing that UNC starts doing right, they seem to do at least one other thing wrong. They’re throwing up brick after brick, and time is seriously running out for them to mount a challenge to Duke in the 2011 ACC Championship Game.

UNC are a terrible 15-48 from the floor, and that doesn’t look like improving. John Henson is still putting in a stellar performance on defense and on the glass, but that’s about the only major positive for the Tar Heels in this game. They’ve simply been out-played.

After the under 12 media timeout, Duke lead 56-41 with 11:29 to play.
