Bobby Knight gets mad about stuff sometimes, and you kind of just have to let him run with it. Saturday night, Knight expressed himself on the Kentucky Wildcats practice under John Calipari of running a roster that's more American Idol than Cheers. <-- That's not really a good joke at all.

Kentucky athletic director Mitch Barnhart took particular offense to this Knight quote:
Kentucky, year before last, started five players in the NCAA tournament games that had not been to class that semester. That's that one-and-done philosophy.
Obviously, that's just Knight on a roll. Of course there's no way he could have such information about which classes John Wall did or didn't attend. But ADs do what ADs do, and Barnhart dutifully responded:
The University of Kentucky, our student-athletes and their families take great offense to the blatantly erroneous comments made by Bob Knight.
