Texas A&M Coach Does ‘The Dougie’ After Winning Women’s NCAA Tournament Championship

At about 11 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, the Dougie died a horrible and painful death at the hands of Texas A&M women’s basketball head coach Gary Blair. In the aftermath of the Aggies’ 76-70 win over Notre Dame in the Women’s NCAA Championship game, the excitement got to be too much for Blair, and he just had to dance. So with cameras rolling and all eyes on him, Blair reached back, ran his hands through his gray hair and did the Dougie.

Words can’t describe what happened in Indianapolis on that stage, so video will have to do. Watch it if you dare.

I’m not sure exactly what he’s doing here. While it was described as the Dougie, there’s no way that’s what Cali Swag District had in mind. Instead, it looks as if Blair was parched from a tough game and felt the need to gyrate while wiping the sweat off his brow.

But who am I to judge? Blair is a national champion and can celebrate any way he wants, no matter how embarrassing the celebration may be.

To celebrate with Texas A&M fans, and perhaps learn how to Dougie, head on over to I Am the 12th Man.
