The SEC basketball tournament is pretty complicated, and often winds up with good (East) teams being screwed by the mandatory high placement of an average (West) team. Billy Donovan suggests using RPI to seed teams, though obviously we’d have to employ Ken Pomeroy’s data instead of RPI. Nobody likes RPI.
