Lorenzo Charles Death Has Police Seeking Bus Crash Witnesses

Police say the bus ran off the road for an unknown reason, drove through a grass shoulder, across an on-ramp and into a wooded area, struck several trees and finally came to a rest back across the road.

But as to why the bus lost control and why it ended up where it did, they remain unsure. They are asking for any witnesses to come forward and help.

Charles was the driver and lone passenger of the bus at the time of the crash.

Regardless of how it happened, memorials and remembrances of the National Championship here continue to roll in from teammates, opponents, coaches, N.C. State alumni and more.
