The Florida State Seminoles certified their place as the best road team in the nation, stunning the No. 4 Duke Blue Devils 76-73 at Cameron Indoor Stadium after a blowout victory over a then-Top 5 North Carolina Tar Heels team last weekend. Michael Snaer hit a three-pointer with one second left on the clock to seal the victory and end Duke's 45-game home winning streak in dramatic fashion.

The Florida State Seminoles celebrated the one-week anniversary of their evisceration of North Carolina by stunning No. 4 Duke on the road, 76-73, ending the Blue Devils’ 45-game winning streak at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The Florida State big men were a decided advantage all game, particularly Bernard James and Xavier Gibson. The duo combined for 28 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks against the towering Duke front line of Mason Plumlee, Miles Plumlee and Ryan Kelly. Snaer, a former McDonald's All-American, finished with 14 points.
Freshman Austin Rivers led the Blue Devils with 19 points, including a clutch layup to tie the game just seconds before Snaer's dagger. Despite a, shall we say, "controversial" blocking foul going Duke's way, Florida State's stifling defense and clutch shooting came through again. This makes three wins in a row aganist the traditional ACC powers for the Seminoles — they beat the Maryland Terrapins Wednesday night, though the Terps are in a down year — and they will surely be ranked Monday morning.
For Duke, this game is more indicative of Florida State’s grit winning out than any condemnation on their team. They still have plenty of talent and experience, but their inability to create individual shots outside of Rivers was a huge reason why they couldn’t keep the Seminoles from overtaking them.
