Jordan Taylor was able to lead his Wisconsin Badgers to an upset on the road over the No. 22 ranked Illinois Fighting Illini.
The two teams were tied at 26 points apiece at halftime and then again at 53 with less than five minutes remaining in the game, but Jordan Taylor and Jared Berggren scored the team's final 12 points of the game as Wisconsin picked up a 67-63 victory over the hosting Illini.
Taylor made just five of his 15 field goal attempts in the game, but the senior guard filled the box score with nine rebounds and five assists to complement his 19 points. Berggren, the team’s back-up big man, made three three-pointers and grabbed five rebounds on his way to 18 points off the bench.
Illinois got great production off the bench as D.J. Richardson, Meyers Leonard and Brandon Paul all scored in double figures, but the only starter that was able to match their effort was Joseph Bertrand as he finished with 15 points, five assists and five rebounds in the loss.
