Kansas went to the half against Texas A&M with a two-point deficit. The Jayhawks responded by locking the Aggies down in the second half for a 64-54 victory.

Kansas weathered a rocky first half and locked down in the second half to beat Texas A&M on Monday night.


Thomas Robinson led Kansas with 18 points and 10 rebounds, and also added four blocks, but Jeff Withey doubled him up with eight blocks and added 10 points of his own. The Jayhawks had 12 blocks to Texas A&M's zero, and allowed just 24 points in the second half, 12 in the final 5:34, after Kansas had the game well in hand.
Elston Turner led Texas A&M, playing without leading scorer Khris Middleton, with 24 points, but he and David Loubeau, who had 15 points, each took 18 shots to get their numbers.
