No. 7 Michigan State vs. No. 15 Wisconsin: Spartans Cruise To 69-55 Win Over Badgers

No. 7 Michigan State cruised to a 69-55 win over No. 15 Wisconsin on Thursday night.

The seventh-ranked Michigan St. Spartans opened up a 12 point lead in the first half and cruised to a 69-55 win over the 15th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers on Thursday night.

Forward Draymond Green had 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Spartans, who also got 20 points from guard Keith Appling. Center Derrick Nix added 12 points off the bench. With the win, the Spartans improved to 21-5 and are 10-3 in the Big Ten. They will go on the road to take on the Purdue Boilermakers on Sunday afternoon.

For the Badgers, guard-forward Ryan Evans had a team-high 17 points and seven rebounds. Guard Ryan Evans finished with 13 points on three of 13 shooting, including 1-6 from beyond the arc. Center-forward Jared Berggren chipped in with 10 points.

The Badgers fell to 19-7 and are 8-5 in the Big Ten, with the Penn St. Nittany Lions visiting the Kohl Center on Sunday afternoon.
