Wisconsin Vs. Ohio State: Game Time, TV Coverage And More

Ohio State and Wisconsin meet for the second time, each looking to pick up momentum for the Big Ten tournament after recent disappointing losses.

Three weeks ago, Jared Sullinger and the Buckeyes went into Madison, Wisc. and scored a big win on the Badgers' home court. But since then, Ohio State has dropped two of its last four -- both to ranked opponents (and the Buckeyes are now just 5-4 against ranked teams this season).

Meanwhile, Jordan Taylor and Wisconsin haven't beaten a ranked team since January, and are coming off a tough one-point loss to Iowa.

This matchup has large implications in the Big Ten. Ohio State, in search of its third consecutive conference title, sits 1.5 games behind Michigan State in the standings with just Wisconsin and Northwestern standing between a regular- season-ending trip to Flint, Mich.

Here’s how our team blogs broke down the matchup.

Our Ohio State blog Along the Olentangy, thinks the difference will be the Buckeye’s advantage up front:

In the first game, Jared Sullinger, predictably, played well against Berggren and junior forward Mike Bruesewitz, scoring 24 points and collecting 10 rebounds. Neither Berggren nor Bruesewitz could match Sullinger's might, and unless the pair have added thirty pounds of muscle apiece in the last twenty one days, a repeat performance from Sullinger would seem in order.

Our Wisconsin blog, Bucky’s Fifth Quarter, focused on the Badgers’ ability to rebound from the Iowa game:

The Badgers are no strangers to a quick turnaround between games. Coming off a tough loss to Michigan State last Thursday, the Badgers had just two days to prepare for Penn State, who they defeated 65-55 the following Sunday. Going into the game with the Nittany Lions, the Badgers stressed how the game helped them move on from their disappointment.***

What: Wisconsin Badgers vs. Ohio State Buckeyes
When: Sunday, February 26th; 4 p.m.
Where:
