The Indiana Hoosiers have done a brilliant job of getting to the free throw line in the first half against the Michigan State Spartans, and they're making their shots when they get there. That has been the biggest difference between the two teams early on. The Hoosiers have made 16 of 18 attempts from the line to go with 50 percent shooting from the floor. At halftime, they lead MSU 41-27.

Indiana is getting to the free throw line consistently against Michigan State and leads the Spartans at halftime.
Michigan State's lone bright spot has been Draymond Green, who was absolutely spectacular in the first 20 minutes. At one point, he scored 14 consecutive points for the Spartans, scoring 16 for the half while grabbing four rebounds and dishing two assists. Keith Appling, on the other hand, hasn't scored, and the Spartans have only gotten two points from their bench.
Victor Oladipo has 11 points at the break, seven of which have come from the charity stripe, while Cody Zeller has nine. Indiana out-rebounded the Spartans 15 to 12 in the first half, and they're turning the ball over less as well. Their first-half performance was very comprehensive, and it's going to take something spectacular for the Spartans to get back into the game.
