The Georgia Bulldogs pulled off a surprising upset win over Mississippi State on Thursday, but their potential dream run to a shock NCAA Tournament bid is now over. They simply didn't have enough offense for the Vanderbilt Commodores on Friday night, with Vandy going on to win 61-43 to advance to the SEC Tournament semifinals.

Dustin Ware came off the bench to lead Georgia in scoring with 10 points, and he was the only Georgia player in double figures. The Bulldogs' starting five combined for just 15 points of offense. Turnovers and outside shooting were the undoing of the 'Dogs, as they coughed up the ball 17 times and shot just 2-17 from behind the arc.
Vanderbilt wasn't spectacular offensively, but was so good defensively that it didn't matter. They shot 44 percent from the floor and 24 percent from behind the arc on 6-25 shooting. Four Commodores scored in double figures and John Jenkins led the way with 15 points.
Vandy moves on to face the Ole Miss Rebels, who likely need a win to keep their hopes of going to the NCAA Tournament alive.
