John Henson Injury: Tar Heels Foward Out For ACC Tournament Semifinal

North Carolina forward John Henson will not play in the today's ACC tournament semifinal game against N.C. State. The lanky 6'11 forward hurt his wrist in the Tar Heels' quarterfinal matchup against Maryland on Friday afternoon. After a hard foul by Ashton Pankey, he played only seven minutes in UNC's 16-point victory over the Terps.

Coach Roy Williams said Henson was feeling better this morning but that his status was still questionable. Then, word came down shortly before tip off that he would not dress against the Wolfpack.

Via @UNC_Basketball:

It's the first game that the junior from Tampa has missed in his Carolina career. He has averaged 13.8 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks per game this season.
