Baylor Vs. Missouri Final Score: Tigers’ Offense Too Much In 90-75 Victory

Missouri left the Big 12 with a flourish on Saturday, overwhelming Baylor with a balanced offensive effort in its last conference game before leaving for the SEC next season.

The Tigers had a double-digit lead for most of the second half, as they dissected the Bears’ 1-3-1 zone with crisp ball movement and hot outside shooting, winning 90-75.

The clear star for Missouri was 6'6 senior Kim English, who was voted the MOP of the Big 12 Tournament after a dominant three-game stretch in Kansas City.

Despite playing out of position at the power forward spot against two future lottery picks in 6'11, 235 Perry Jones and 6'9, 200 Quincy Miller, English held his own in the post while burying shot after shot from the perimeter. He finished with 19 points on 6-10 shooting, including 5-8 from behind the three-point line.

Jones had 16 points and 11 rebounds, but Missouri's offensive dominance more than negated Baylor's advantage on the interior. Five Tigers had at least 15 points, with Phil Pressey, Marcus Denmon, Ricardo Ratliffe and Michael Dixon all taking turns scoring.
