Much has been made this season of Kentucky freshman Anthony Davis’ unibrow, and the National Player of the Year candidate’s unwillingness to shave it. His teammates have made fun of him for it, Kentucky fans have created countless photoshops to honor it, and it even has its own Facebook page.
Anthony Davis’ Mom Makes Case For Mother Of The Year
Davis has said throughout the year that he actually enjoys the fact that the unibrow seems to get under the skin of opposing fans, and that he has no interest in getting rid of it. Also a fan of the look is Davis’ mother, who showed up to the SEC championship game on Sunday wearing a mask to honor her son’s trademark.
Brow down to that level of maternal glory.
No word on whether or not Mrs. Davis has plans to carry the tradition into the NCAA Tournament.
Kentucky, the tournament’s No. 1 overall seed, begins its run to the Final Four on Thursday evening against either Western Kentucky or Mississippi Valley State.
