NCAA Tournament 2012, Iowa State Vs. UConn: Game Time, TV Schedule And More
The Connecticut Huskies will begin their title defense on Thursday night against the Iowa State Cyclones in their first game at the 2012 NCAA Tournament.

The matchup should be one of the closer games of the day considering it’s a battle of the No. 8 and 9 seeds, but it gets better: The game is scheduled to be televised on TBS at 9:20 p.m.
The Huskies are obviously the team that most casual fans would think to be the favorite considering they're the defending national champions, but they actually come in as the underdogs as far as the seeding is concerned. Their top scorer is one of last year's breakout tournament stars as Jeremy Lamb averages over 17 points per game, but Shabazz Napier, Ryan Boatright and Andre Drummond all likely have futures playing professional basketball.
The Cyclones' top player is likely all-around contributor Royce White, a Minnesota transfer, as the "center" leads the team in scoring, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals. Chris Allen could also be important Cyclones as he was a member of two Michigan State teams that made the Final Four prior to his transfer to the Cyclones.
