NCAA Tournament 2012, Vanderbilt Vs. Wisconsin: TV Schedule, Game Time And More

The Wisconsin Badgers have a difficult matchup with the Vanderbilt Commodores in the third round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament. The two teams will square off at 6:10 p.m. on Saturday night for the right to advance to the Sweet 16.

The Wisconsin Badgers made quick work of the Montana Grizzlies in their first game at the 2012 NCAA Tournament, but it probably won't be quite as easy to make it to the Sweet 16. The Badgers drew the No. 5 seeded Vanderbilt Commodores in what is technically the third round of March Madness.

The Badgers are hoping to use their staunch defense and grinding offense to methodically advance to the Sweet 16 when they meet the Commodores at 6:10 p.m. on TNT for their Saturday night showdown.

Wisconsin is led by All-Big Ten point guard Jordan Taylor, a senior who excels in the pick-and-roll, while backup wing Rob Wilson has found a himself as the Badgers' instant-offense player off of the bench. It was junior forward Ryan Evans who led the team in scoring in the Badgers' opening game of the Big Dance, however, scoring 18 points to go along with eight rebounds as Wisconsin ousted Montana.

Vanderbilt's offense revolves around a Taylor as well with senior wing Jeffrey Taylor being the key to quite a few of the Commodores' victories this season. It'd be difficult to sleep on three-point shooting extraordinaire John Jenkins and post man Festus Ezeli when looking at the Vandy roster, however. Jenkins scored 27 points in the team's victory over Harvard on Thursday while Ezeli notched eight points, 11 rebounds and four blocks to complement Taylor's 15 points and stingy defense.
