Tim Miles Expected To Be Named Head Coach At Nebraska
Nebraska has found its next head basketball coach in Colorado State’s Tim Miles.

Miles will meet with officials from Colorado State Friday night before finalizing the deal, according to ESPN.com’s Andy Katz. Katz reports that Miles has been offered a five-year contract with a rollover option for a sixth, starting at $1.4 million a year. The contract would be an estimated $8.7 million over six years.
In five seasons at CSU, Miles has amassed an overal record of 71-88. He led the Rams to a fourth-place finish in the Mountain West and an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament in 2011-12. They were defeated in the round of 64 by Murray State and finished the season at 20-12.
Miles would replace Doc Sadler, who was fired by Nebraska after six seasons earlier this month.
