McDonald’s All-American Game 2012: Time, TV Coverage And More

The 2012 McDonald’s All-American game tips-off Wednesday night at 9:30 p.m. ET at the United Center in Chicago.

The 2012 McDonald’s All-American game will tip off at 9:30 p.m. ET at the United Center in Chicago. Some of the best high school basketball players in the country, 24 of them to be exact, will take the court hoping to prove their skills in front of fans as well as college and professional scouts.

This year’s East and West squads are made up of 21 of ESPNU’s Top 30 soon-to-be college freshmen. Leading the West squad will be Shabazz Muhammad, a strong forward from Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas still considering the likes of UCLA, USC, Kentucky, Duke, Kansas and UNLV. The East are spearheaded by a strong inside game, led by Kentucky commitment Alex Poythress out of Clarksville, TN. He checks in as ESPNU’s No. 16 overall player in the country, while Muhammad comes in at No. 2 overall.
