CAA Tournament 2012: Bracket And Schedule For Day 3 Semifinals

The Colonial Athletic Association is deeper than most mid-major conferences, with a few teams that might make the 2012 NCAA Tournament. Some of them will meet on Sunday in the CAA semifinals.

Top-seeded Drexel will meet No. 4 Old Dominion in the day’s first semifinal, and No. 2 VCU and No. 3 George Mason will match up in a showdown between the conference’s two Final Four representatives of recent vintage. Of the four teams, only Old Dominion would really be seen as a dark horse tournament winner, but there’s only one spot for a CAA team in the NCAA Tournament in SB Nation’s latest bracketology, so all four will likely be playing what could be their last games of the season on Sunday.

Here is Sunday’s schedule. The full bracket can be found here.

Schedule (ESPN3 and Comcast Sportsnet)

No. 1 Drexel vs. No. 4 Old Dominion - 2:00 p.m. ET

No. 2 VCU vs. No. 3 George Mason - 4:30 p.m. ET
