The 2012 ACC Tournament gets under way Thursday afternoon at Philips Arena in Atlanta, with the No. 8 Maryland Terrapins and the No. 9 Wake Forest Demon Deacons playing the first of four games on the schedule. The winner of that contest will have the honor of playing the No. 1 North Carolina Tar Heels Friday afternoon.

Also on the schedule, we will see the No. 12 seed Boston College Eagles attempt to upset the No. 5 N.C. State Wolfpack. Following that game will be the No. 7 Clemson Tigers versus the No. 10 Virginia Tech Hokies while the No. 6 Miami Hurricanes and the No. 11 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets close out the night.
