Of course, should the Tigers advance, the No. 1-seed, national poll-leading Kentucky Wildcats await them Friday afternoon.
SEC Tournament 2012 Schedule: Day 1’s Bracket Begins With LSU Vs. Arkansas
With Kentucky, the No. 2 Tennessee Volunteers, the No. 3 Vanderbilt Commodores and the No. 4 Florida Gators all waiting for their Friday games, we won't see many major upsets on Day 1. Thursday's Game 2 might be the only contest that could result in an upset: the No. 12 South Carolina Gamecocks won just two games in the SEC this season and will go up against the nine-win No. 5 Alabama Crimson Tide.
