Despite the appearance of a 12-point victory over the Utah Utes in the 2012 Pac-12 Tournament, the Colorado Buffaloes came away with a sloppy 53-41 win on Wednesday night. It was so bad at one point that both teams had a shot at making history in the first half -- the bad kind of history, that is. They both could have broken the record of fewest points scored in a half during the tournament (16 by the Washington St. Cougars in the later 1980s).

Neither team found any success shooting from the field: Colorado hit just 34.9 percent of its shots and Utah 35.9. Both teams took a large number of three-point shots, hitting 5 of 27. This resulted in 58 total rebounds in the game. Utah also had trouble controlling the ball, committing 18 turnovers to Colorado’s nine.
Andre Roberson scored 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for the best performance of the game. Former Ute and current Buffalo Carlon Brown fell two rebounds short of a double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing eight rebounds. But outside of that, there isn't much else to talk about.
The Buffaloes play the late game again when they take on the No. 3 Oregon Ducks Thursday night.
