The Baylor Bears men's basketball team are doing everything in their power to become the Oregon Ducks football team of NCAA basketball, for good or for ill (mostly ill, but largely due to motion sickness). While they took the court in the quarterfinals of the 2012 Big 12 Championship on Thursday wearing highlighter-yellow, eye-rupturingly bright uniforms, they decided to take a more subtle? more tasteful? different approach in Friday's semifinal game against the Kansas Jayhawks.

The jerseys that accompany the trunks have the same tiger stripe-style swirl and fluorescent yellow accents.
Hey, college athletes (and Seattle Seahawks, while we’re at it): we get it. You like bright colors. Awesome. But those trunks? Those are essentially Zubaz workout pants, which have not been cool -- even ironically -- on anyone other than professional wrestlers for about 20 years now. (See also: fanny packs.)
These Baylor uniforms are actually worse than Zubaz. These are basically Zubaz cut-offs. Adidas, Nike: you are monsters.
