Washington's Terrence Ross was the leader of a Huskies team that won the Pac-12 regular season title but missed the 2012 NCAA Tournament, and he'll be looking for more success at the next level during the 2012-13 season. The Tacoma News Tribune's Ryan Divish reports that Ross will enter the 2012 NBA Draft and hire an agent.
Terrence Ross Declaring For 2012 NBA Draft, Will Hire Agent
Washington’s Terrence Ross is heading to the NBA.
Ross is a 6’6” shooting guard who can play small forward, with significant skills as a shooter and rebounder -- he averaged 16.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game as a sophomore this season, and shot 37.1 percent from three-point range. And he profiles as a first-round pick, though he is unlikely to be a lottery pick and where he might end up likely depends on fit as much as anything.
DraftExpress’s most recent mock draft has the Boston Celtics selecting Ross with the 18th pick of the first round.
