In an effort to preserve his iconic malformed unique image, former Kentucky star and likely No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick Anthony Davis has filed a trademark for the phrases “Fear the Brow” and “Raise the Brow.”
Davis, college basketball’s consensus national Player of the Year for 2012, drew almost as much attention for his distinctive unibrow as he did his actual game during his one season as a Wildcat. Kentucky fans made “Brow Down” shirts and posters, painted unibrows onto pictures all over Lexington, and Davis’ own mother was even spotted wearing a fake unibrow during the SEC Tournament.
