Anthony Davis Gets Revenge For Game Played Before He Was Born

Duke’s 104-103 overtime over Kentucky in the 1992 East regional championship game is still widely considered to be the greatest college basketball game of all-time. It didn’t go down without controversy, however, as Wildcat fans are still irate that eventual hero Christian Laettner wasn’t ejected for stomping on UK’s Aminu Timberlake during the second half.
Anthony Davis, who is currently fulfilling the 12th man role on the USA Olympic team that was assumed by Laettner in 1992, exacted some revenge on behalf of Big Blue Nation by posing for this picture with the former Duke star on Monday.

Davis was born on March 11, 1993, almost a full year after the Laettner game took place.
