Freshman guard Milton Doyle is leaving the Kansas basketball program before ever playing a game, his mother, Lisa Green, told the Kansas City Star late Sunday.
Freshman Guard Milton Doyle Leaving The Kanas Basketball Program
Kansas freshman Milton Doyle has reportedly made the decision to leave the Jayhawk basketball program before ever playing a game.

Green did not give a reason for her son’s departure, but said that he had informed her of his decision earlier on Sunday.
A 6’4 shooting guard out of Chicago, Doyle was originally committed to Florida International, but re-opened his recruitment after FIU coach Isiah Thomas was fired following last season.
Doyle arrived on campus this summer, and was with the Jayhawks during their recent four-game exhibition tour of Europe. He had four points in 10 minutes in KU’s final game in Paris, a 79-60 loss to AMW France. The Jayhawks finished 2-2 during the trip.
Even without Doyle, Kansas still has one of the nation’s largest freshmen classes with seven rookies preparing to suit up in 2012-13. The Jayhawks are expected to once again be the preseason favorites in the Big 12.
