Hometown Hainting Kicks In; Auburn Leads Arkansas 27-21 At The Half

Since we last stopped typing, here’s what’s happened in Auburn:

  • An Arkansas three-and-out, ending with a blocked punt.
  • An Auburn touchdown three plays later.
  • A two-minute touchdown drive featuring Arkansas' backup quarterback, Tyler Wilson, that culminated in a 34-yard scoring pass to Greg Childs.
  • A 15-yard penalty to each team stalling an answering Auburn drive and a Wes Byrum field goal. Whew.

Still no news on Ryan Mallett's injury. CBS's cameras are following his father around the stadium with unsettling interest, however, so you'l know when we do. At the half, Auburn leads Arkansas, 27-21.
